Developed by Australian company Audinate, Dante® is the world's leading AV-over-IP solution, included in over 2000 products from more than 400 manufacturers. BirdDog's partnership with Audinate provides Dante® support for all hardware product lines and Dante® integration with Comms Pro. BirdDog Dante products handle the splitting or re-inserting of Dante® audio from NDI® streams and vice versa.
Depending on the application, you can choose between solutions for integrating Dante into NDI workflows at intercom level or for AV production. The latter is available in a hardware and a software-based version.
Dante NDI Bridge
Dante NDI Bridge is a Windows 10 application for switching audio tracks between NDI® and Dante®. With support for up to 3 stereo pairs, Dante NDI Bridge can receive 3 NDI® streams and create 3 stereo pairs of Dante® audio or receive a single NDI® stream and create 3 Dante® stereo audio pairs. All this is done with sub-frame latency and of course in both directions.
