Pyro shines with a hot new feature that allows you to eject fire from particles and matrices. And the new Vertex Normal tools give artists unparalleled precision to perfect surfaces.
Cinema 4D 2024 is more than twice as fast as previous versions thanks to Maxon's all-new Core, which optimizes speed and performance.
Pyro
Pyro now provides artists with more precise controls to artistically customize their simulations and ensure they match their vision. By adding the Pyro tag to standard particle emitters, thinking particle geometries and matrix clones, they can now emit pyro. This allows artists to create cinematic scenes with fire, smoke plumes and explosions or visualize beautiful fireworks in the night sky. Using UpRes, creatives can use a lower resolution simulation for a more efficient workflow in the art direction and conception phase of a project and then render the simulation in full quality for the final output.
Scene Manager
In the Cinema 4D Scene Manager you use powerful, node-based assets to construct procedural geometry or entire scenes in a hierarchical view.
The Node UI in Cinema 4D 2024 has been revised. In addition to a modernization of the general appearance, there is a new note function. This allows artists to document their network of nodes directly in the Node Editor.
Modeling
The new modeling tools in Cinema 4D 2024 make complex tasks a breeze. With Select Pattern, artists can repeat a selection on the surface of the mesh with one click. Projection Deformer allows you to move points from one object to another in any direction.
Simulation
With the new Unified Simulation System, you can create more realistic looking simulations that include multiple objects with different simulation properties such as cloth, ropes, rigid bodies, soft bodies and pyro. The Unified Simulation System allows simulations to be calculated on both the CPU and GPU and is highly multi-threaded for improved performance in complex cloth simulations.
