What is KeyShotWeb?
KeyShotWeb is an add-on that allows you to create interactive, web-based content that can be used online or in PowerPoint, Keynote and iBooks. Unlike conventional web content, KeyShotWeb is designed for use by designers and creatives - no programming is required. 360° product views or specially created product configurators can be created with just a few clicks.
KeyShotWeb consists of KeyShotXR and the KeyShot Web Configurator and Web Viewer. All content created with KeyShotWeb can be displayed on all touch-enabled devices or displays, can be operated with a mouse or finger and does not require a browser plug-in.
KeyShotXR
With KeyShotXR you can turn a KeyShot scene into an interactive 360° visual. With KeyShotXR you can create and present high-quality, touch-enabled 3D content for any web browser or presentation software.
- Progressive loading of images
- Touch-capable: Rotate, zoom, pan
- Real-time feedback during setup
- Support for background rendering, render queue and network rendering
- 6 possible types: Turntable, Hemisphere, Sphere, Tumble, Custom, Animation (requires KeyShot Pro)
KeyShotWeb Configurator
With the KeyShot Web Configurator, you can turn a configurator created with KeyShot Pro into an interactive product configurator. Like KeyShotXR, the Web Configurator creates high-quality, touch-enabled 3D content for use in a web browser or presentation software.
- Integrate the real-time KeyShot configurator into a web browser
- Pre-rendered images with supporting user interface and text to display multiple asset variations
- Support for rendering variations based on model sets, studios with multiple materials and cameras
- Real-time feedback during setup
Embedding
When rendering KeyshotXR or Web Configurator, a folder is created containing all the required files and images. The output can be stored and shared on a local intranet, compressed and securely shared, or hosted online for embedding on a website or in presentation software. A web server is required to host the files for viewing and/or embedding. Other options include the ability to create an iBook widget (.wdgt) that you can use in iBooks for iOS.
Note
KeyShotWeb requires a valid KeyShot Pro license to access the Web Configurator features.
