With KeyVR, you can create rich, fully interactive virtual reality experiences from any KeyShot scene with just one click. You can do this without scripting, coding or special model preparation. Once the scene is in KeyShot, it's ready for VR. This capability allows engineers, designers and 3D professionals to evaluate designs faster, examine the details and functionality of products more thoroughly and give customers the opportunity to experience current or future products in the environment of their choice.
KeyVR is based on the KeyShot framework. Many of the key application features have a completely new render path to deliver full frame quality in milliseconds. This enables the fastest VR experience, allowing users to see designs in context. At the same time, you can move the model and make adjustments as you would in a real studio.

What is necessary?
KeyVR has three minimum requirements to display 3D models in VR:
- VR-capable Windows PC: KeyVR is currently available for all Windows desktops or laptops (Windows 7 or higher) with a VR-capable GPU (GTX1080, Vega64 or better).
- VR headset: Support for head-mounted displays includes Oculus Rift (with Oculus Desktop), HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality (with SteamVR).
- KeyShot file: KeyVR is a separate product from KeyShot and KeyShot is not required to run KeyVR. KeyVR accepts the .bip and .ksp files created with KeyShot. In addition, you can switch directly from KeyShot to KeyVR with one click in KeyShot 8.
